Sales & Purchase | |
| David attends the majority of National Hunt sales in the UK and Ireland and some of the flat sales in the UK,France and Ireland. Having both sold and purchased a number of winners in jump and flat races at varying prices, he is happy to discuss and advise whether you are selling or purchasing. | |
Pre-Training | |
| We are happy to offer Pre-training for racehorses. Our aim is to send the horses off into training strong, happy and healthy. There are lots of hacking routes around us for the start of their fitness and then the circular all-weather gallop provides good strengthening exercise before going into full training. | |
Point-to-point | |
| We enjoy training horses for point to points and are happy to take on horses for pointing whether it be form horses or maidens horses. We have enjoyed 45 winners from 8 seasons of training with our best season providing 14 lexwinners. With each season having varying numbers of horses in training from 2 to 12! Our best training successes would include Flowersoftherarest winning 9 of his 10 career wins with us, Oscarthemyth winning a hunter chase at Huntingdon, and winning a maiden first time out with a beneficial mare that we had broken and named, Me Too. |  |
Breaking | |
| Here at Felix Racing we pride ourselves on producing well broken horses. We have a monarch rubber clad lunge pen with a martin collins surface,which makes an ideal safe environment to begin with. We use traditional methods, including long-reining and never cut corners, we believe this is what makes horses from our yard well balanced and good to ride, making it easier to for the race training process. | |
